CONFIGURATION & CHANGE MANAGEMENT ENGINEER
JOB TYPE: CONTRACT
LOCATION: SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA

Main Purpose of Role:
Configuration Management has end-to-end responsibility for managing network acceptance and changes to the network
Main Responsibility Areas:
a. Receive Work Orders
b. Define Work Order execution time windows
c. Define Work Order dependencies
d. Assign Work Orders to NW Operations & Infrastructure Mgt functions
e. Track & Manage Work Order execution
f. Execution of Work Order
g. Maintain network configuration information and integrity
h. Inventory support for data based updation limited to Active database provisioning via NOC

Other tasks:
a. Ensures Network Configuration integrity
b. Ensures management of network acceptance and changes
c. Support CM Reporting
d. Supports Fault management
e. Supports Performance Management

Key Competencies:
a. Configuration and Change management
b. Technology skills: Experience in Nokia TD LTE networks, understanding of transmission and Nokia RAN LTE, Core.
