IP Network Design Engineer - Install, Maintenance & Configuration
A global innovator who is at the forefront of cutting edge technology within a constantly changing IT world are looking for a bright, talented and passionate Telecoms Network Engineer.
What will I be doing?
You will be responsible for installing & commissioning and configuration state of the art telecoms equipment. This is an ongoing process as their own products and networks continue to develop, key responsibilities include;
+ Interpreting customer network design to develop small scale lab equivalent
+ Learning about new products within an evaluation programme
+ Develop the installation procedures from standard product documents
+ Configuring systems to emulate operational systems
+ Supporting systems during evaluations
What skills & experience will I need?
In order to work alongside some of the brightest minds in the business with all the latest technologies at your disposal, knowledge or qualifications in the following is highly advantageous;
+ Experience installing a range of equipment including Cisco Routers & Switches, RAN, Core, BT Exchange ect
+ IP networking - developing and maintain IP networks
+ Installation experience within a busy laboratory or Data Centre
+ Ability to learn about new products and technology
+ Methodical approach to building systems
+ Fixed or Mobile system or network experience
+ Experience of Linux is highly advantageous
+ SS7 knowledge
