Responsibilities
Monitor and manage Transmission network alarm events, service outage, network performance deterioration, customer complaint from alarm panel, constant monitor and analyze network performance consistently. This also includes providing escalation and notification of Minor, Critical and Major incidents/outages and first line of troubleshooting.
•Monitor alarms and performance information on the 24x7 basis.
•Perform analysis to identify issues follow by restoration when possible (1st and 2nd line of Support).
•Perform periodical network backups and health checks to determine network status.
•Respond to Network Customer Support Team within agreed SLA time frame.
•Perform periodic content service testing such as loop testing, etc...
•Create and update/manage trouble tickets for any detected problem.
•Ensure all docket information are capture in activity log
•Managing technical escalation to ensure faults is rectified within agreed SLAs.
•Perform Escalation and Notification to keep management and other business units informed during system outages.
•Assist the FO shift leader in producing activity report for KPI calculation.
•Check and certified new network elements to be commissioned in operation environment within agreed KPI. (RFS)
•Assist the operation team in process improvement and ongoing development of tools and system.
•Ensure proper work progress, shift handover, data communication, team work spirit…etc.

General, independent of system
•Perform MW Network related O&M activities
•7 x 24 Network Surveillance / Troubleshooting
•Handling all different types of MW alarms through SO EM system.
•1st/2nd level support for all Ericsson MW equipment’s faults and Fast recovery of services by doing remote Troubleshooting and coordinating with Field Operations if required.
•Carry out reactive maintenance on all network equipment, including faults analysis, restoration and resolution;
•Escalate faults to 3 level support team if their contribution is needed for timely restoration or final resolution
•Work in conjunction with other teams in analyzing and resolving all issues related to the inter-working and integration of the Transport Network.
•Perform network activities such migration and re-parenting, rehoming, configuration changes, software changes.
•Expert level in IP/MPLS networking fundamentals and Ethernet technology
•To support the NOC organization in regards to daily support issues.
•To suggest actions and initiatives to enhance daily operations within the NOC.

Technical Competence

•Good knowledge in Ericsson MW, OMS and Transport Networks.
•Good knowledge of the network topology, its traffic handling capabilities and traffic characteristics.
•Good knowledge about network operation center processes and interfaces.
•Good Knowledge in SOM, SOE and SON.
•Good knowledge of network implementation / integration processes.
•Good knowledge of IP networks.

Training, Education and Experience
•Vendor or Operator certified candidate who already participated in official trainings courses.
•Degree within Electrical Engineering/Telecommunication Engineering/Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent.
•Minimum 3 years of experience in Operation & Maintenance implementation / integration / operation / support or service environment.
