Telecom Back Office Transmission Engineer ..... Required Skills: Technical Knowledge: Expertise in transmission technologies (MPLS, Ethernet, SDH, fiber optics, WDM, etc.). Familiarity with transmission equipment (routers, switches, fiber optic equipment, etc.). Understanding of IP networks and communication protocols. Experience in network management and troubleshooting (incident diagnostics, log analysis, etc.). Analytical Skills: Ability to diagnose complex transmission issues and provide quick, effective solutions. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Tools and Software: Proficiency with network management and monitoring tools. Experience using ticketing systems and incident tracking software. Knowledge of network performance monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, MRTG, etc.). Communication and Relationship Management: Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively. Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. Desired Profile: Education: Master's degree or higher (Telecommunications, Networks, Computer Science, or Engineering). Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, certifications from providers like Cisco, Huawei, Juniper) are a plus. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar telecom role (ideally in transmission and network infrastructure). Experience with incident management and working with complex network infrastructures.
