Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading Southeast Asian mobile telecommunications services operator, which has a strong presence in Indonesia. Our highly respected client is seeking a professional with at least 13 years’ experience in account management and new business development in large organizations, ideally in the telecommunications industry, for the job of Head of Key Account Management. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Job summary

The Head of Key Account Management will join a vibrant, dynamic and multicultural work environment. The winning candidate will work with some of the best talent Indonesia has to offer covering a number of projects.

Key job responsibilities may include:
  • Develop market understanding for customers in enterprise segment which are categorized as key account (demand, customer values, suitable products and services, etc.)
  • Develop and manage the overall strategy to capture, retain and maximize value from enterprise key accounts
  • Drive and manage systematic account planning with sales teams while planning for effective approaches for each customer type
  • Design customer journey for key accounts in enterprise sub-segment as per their preferences and needs
  • Lead the development for key account sales initiatives to bridge capability gaps and maximize sales performance (e.g. skills, resource, gaps and digitization)
  • Monitor and allocate resources for execution of marketing, sales and service delivery/operations for key accounts
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key accounts
Key job requirements may include:
  • Bachelor’s degree (S1) from top tier local or overseas universities. Master Degree is an advantage,
  • 13 – 15 years’ minimum experience in account management and new business development in large organizations, within Technology Industry
  • Telecommunication industry experience is a plus
  • Proven excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide concise and clear, written and verbal reports
  • Exceptional problem solving skills
  • Ability to work across cultural and organizational boundaries, and operate successfully in a demanding Customer environment
  • Fluent in English
