Hiring - Transmission Technologies Specialist for Abu Dhabi Location Contract: 12 month Client: Telecom Roles & Responsibilities: - 5+ years hands on experience on various transmission technologies. - Experience on one or both of the following products is required - Nokia 7750 and/or Nokia 1830 PPS - Hands-on experience in Nokia transmission solution - provide level-2 technical support to the various units within the transmission DWDM/IP network. This role will also be acting as the interface between the operation team and the vendor specific L2 and L3 teams. - Experience in real time monitoring and surveillance of customer’s networks against prescribed processes and procedures. - High level understanding of multi-services platforms, routing platforms, routing protocols and troubleshooting down to packet level. - Provide L2 support to field teams during intervention. - Responsible for 2nd level support on all escalated incidents by analyzing faults, troubleshooting, researching existing knowledgebase articles/known issues and responsible for initiating and managing escalation to vendor L3 support.
