EXFO is seeking, a self-motivated individual who can demonstrate knowledge in a number of technologies, can operate under minimal supervision, a fast learner, and is highly competent in helping to develop and execute strategies to foster new business. With a proven track record on understanding technical customers’ needs, this individual will drive the presales & post sales customer engagement process. The ideal candidate must have, experience and skills required supporting our customers in Indonesia.

Higher education in Telecommunications, Optics or Engineering (Electronics) or equivalent

Tasks and duties
Responsibilities

Candidate will be assigned two key area of responsibilities a) Pre-Sales Support and b) Business Development.

Pre-Sales Support Role

Support sales and business development objectives in collaboration with the Regional sales team.
Develop and deliver product presentations at customers, conferences and other venues as required.
Own entire pre-sales technical cycle, including assisting the sales manager in closing of the sale.
Provide technical expertise and support in the positioning, acceptance and sales of EXFO’s next generation Transport and Data Communication, Optical and Access test portfolio.
Develop and deliver product based training to our internal and partners sales teams.
Support the delivery of customer product training and post-sales support when necessary.
Work closely with relevant groups within the organization (Product Management, Post Sales, and R&D) to continuously improve the engagement and the delivery process to exceed customer expectations.
Work closely with Product Management and R&D on product compliance and provide customer feedback.
Take responsibility for the deployment and adoption of demo equipment for field trials.
Work together with the Sales Team to devise strategies for increasing EXFOs’ brand name within the Telecommunication marketplace.
As the customer interface you will spend 60 to 70% of your time with the client.


Business Development Role

Explore new market potential and vertical by identifying, engaging new entity locally that can value add in ensuring all BU are covered strongly, strategically with immediate positive impact to achieve the year over year business growth plan.
Effectively utilizing and motivating all available resources (solution sales executives, technical support specialists, company executives, and channel partners) to aggressively pursue revenue opportunities.
Technical skills
Technical skills

The candidate should have an extensive knowledge of the main transmission technology and applications (SDH, next generation SDH, OTN, Fiber Channel, Carrier Ethernet, TCP/IP, Voice over IP, etc.).
Knowledge of optical physical layer testing (optical dispersion & optical spectral analysis).
Knowledge of Copper Access Technologies and applications is advantageous.

Personal skills
Experience

Minimum 3 years of Test & Measurement industry experience is mandatory.
Language requirements: English
Based in Indonesia but availabito travel within SEA or International (when necessary).
