Plans and performs technical activities to service the customer and brings expertise to customer site on need basis.
Main Responsibility Area
Plans and executes technical tasks requiring specialist skills in own professional area. Works independently with the responsibility for solving customer request cases and reporting according to processes. Identifies and solves technical problems. Shares knowledge in own professional area. May support areas by participating in emergency and 24/7 duty.
Position Description
Good Knowledge in 3G Mobile Access (skill level 3) planning and performance , 3-5 years experience working in customer project and customer interface.
- Good knowledge in NSN 3G solution (RNC/Iub/Iu dimensioning, Native IP Iub/Iu, Access features & parameter, Access performance monitoring)
- Good knowledge in NSN 2G solution (Packet Abis, AoIP)
- IP and ATM knowledge
- Knowledge in network dimensioning & tendering activities.
- knowledge of mobile access transport modeling & planning tools (NPS10) is a plus.
- knowledge in IP microwave radio dimensioning and detail planning
- Knowledge in Cisco/Tellabs/Juniper access routers
Position Requirements
B.Sc. in telecommunications or data communications or equivalent
This role requires minimum to moderate travelling.
Ability to work independently in a virtual and multi-cultural team environment
Knowledge sharing & presentation skills
Networking ability
Hunger to learn new and develop own skills
Fluent in spoken and written English.
